A few rough concept sketches for the original film idea. Since the film idea is completed changed, not sure if I will go further with these concepts.

A paint over of an old painting. I liked the original concept, so I refined it a little bit more.

This is a re-light of the previous matte painting. Adjusted a lot of layers and made some compositional changes.

Avatar!!!!!!

I am amazed by the revolutionary CGI in the movie Avatar. Couldnt help but do a painting of it. I have been putting time on and off to work on this piece, finally its finished(hopefully lol). Respect to James Cameron.

Oil_Painting_Study

Did an oil painting study on the weekend. Not quite sure how to handle actual brushes, since I have been using tablet pen everyday now. Reference the artist Leonidafremov, who uses knife instead of brushes to do oil paintings. I love his bold and saturated use of colors.
